Is Your Cell Phone Killing You? WE Magazine, Nov 2010
by Debra Greene, PhD
Women are known to be talkers and we love staying connected with our friends and family through long phone conversations. We can get annoyed when our husbands don’t call and we become insistent that our kids be available by phone to talk or text us with their whereabouts. The cell phone has entrenched itself so firmly in our lives that it’s hard to imagine functioning without it.

But what if cell phones are actually harmful?

The Language of the Life Force: Energy is Inergy, Ki Awareness Magazine, July 2010
by Dr. Debra Greene, PhD
Culture’s in which human energy figures prominently honor that precious energy by giving it a unique name. In Japan, vital life energy is called ki, in India it is referred to as prana, the Hawaiians call it mana, and in China it is chi.

Unfortunately, there is no unique word in the English language specific to hu- man energy. All we have is the word energy, which is confusing because the same word is used to refer to a wide variety of things.

The Role of Inner Clarity (IC) in Transforming Beliefs at the Core, The Energy Field, Nov 2009
by Dr. Debra Greene, PhD
Energy forms the very basis of energy psychology. In fact, it’s the basis of everything, including the conditions we treat. So what happens if we take a model in which energy is primary and construct a psychology-based healing modality from that? The result, I believe, is Inner Clarity (IC).

The Ego’s Invitation, Maui Vision Magazine, Sept 2004
by Dr. Debra Greene, PhD
Is it a sign of evolution that we have the time to contemplate our egos, or a sign of decadence? When my social-activist friend accuses me of the latter, I am quick to point out that in India, hardly the land of decadence, people have been contemplating their egos for thousands of years.
The Relationship Between the Mind and the Body, The Maui News, Jan 2002
by Dr. Debra Greene, PhD
Have you noticed that when you think stressful thoughts you begin to feel stressed? And when you feel stressed you don’t function well? This might sound trite, however, when carried on over a significant amount of time, the body begins to notice. What I am suggesting, simply put, is that thoughts and emotions can cause disease.
