Chewing food thoroughly, at least 20 chews per bite, gives the body the opportunity to digest. Swallowing food that is solid or not adequately mixed with the digestive enzymes of the mouth, is not digestible. The nutrients cannot be assimilated, and the body cannot utilize it. I will accumulate as toxins, and you will visibly see accumulation.
