My Thoughts on Using a DishwasherSmaller Font  Larger Font

Dishwashers are great for sanitizing prewashed non-plastic dishes & utensils (glass, metal, & ceramic), however stay away from putting plastics into the cycle because the heat and harsh detergents can cause BPA to break down and leach out. Handwashing with mild detergent is best.
Dishwashers do make a great drying rack for plastics, though, when not in use.
