Boost your Immune SystemSmaller Font  Larger Font

The practice of blending herbs has a long history with benefits found in the enhanced effects of the combined blend over the use of individual herbs. Herbs taken individually can be quite effective and beneficial.

However, when herbs are combined into formulas or blends, the therapeutic effects of each individual herb can be greatly enhanced.

In Immune Boost+, the primary agents giving anti-viral, anti-bacterial and immune support, are Echinacea, Astragalus, Goldenseal and Thyme –with Ginger acting as a secondary agent aiding digestion, circulation and absorption.

From a traditional perspective, there is a reason for each herb with Echinacea providing immune support. Goldenseal contains the natural antibiotic berberine which can help prevent bacterial infections that often follow colds, while Thyme acts as an anti-microbial.

Astralagus contains complex sugar molecules called polysaccharides that help strengthen the immune system and anti-bacterial properties that help to fight off infections.

Ginger contains very potent anti-inflammatory compounds called gingerols and historically, Ginger has a long tradition of being very effective in alleviating symptoms of gastrointestinal distress.

The herbs in Immune Boost + work as a team, with some members participating as primary therapeutic agents, exerting a direct action on the body.

The end result is a faster acting and more potent medicine.
